Join Us
Please join us on October 11–12, 2016, for Enabling High Penetration Solar PV Through Next-Generation Power Electronic Technologies—a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) workshop exploring future power electronics solutions for photovoltaic (PV) systems.
The workshop will bring together leading experts in power electronics, semiconductor devices, system packaging, magnetics, embedded controls, and PV inverter manufacturers, to discuss research paths forward for the development of PV power electronics with higher efficiency, functionality, and reliability at a lower cost.
Attendees will be able to provide input to DOE’s SunShot and Systems Integration teams on current research paths as well as priorities and topics of interest for future research in this area. The expected outcomes of this workshop include an assessment of the state-of-the-art of power electronic technologies, a proposed set of solutions that will address near- and long-term research and development needs, and the identification of critical areas that will need DOE support for interconnecting and integrating hundreds of gigawatts of solar power onto the electric grid.
Space for this workshop is limited. Please register by September 30.
